Adventurous experience?? by Ximena

It was really difficult for me to found an "adventurous experience” since I've never done rafting or canopy or stuff like those. But anyway, I'll just tell the first thing that came to my mind!.

Last year, I went to Arizona for an
exchange. I stayed there for 2 weeks. The family I got was very nice and they treat me really well. The thing is that they were so nice that they decided to invite us to Las Vegas, Nevada! The Sin City!. The parents told us (to me and the other girl form the exchange, Mauren) to ask our parents, here in Costa Rica, for permission. We were so amazed; we were thinking that they were kidding. But no, they were serious. So we ask our parents and they said yes obviously.
It was a 6 hours trip by car, almost like going to Guanacaste
from San Jose. We were asleep the entire trip. When we were arriving to the state of Nevada the mom woke us up to see the magnificent Hoover Dam. It was amazing and it was just the beginning. We arrived to Las Vegas at 10 am. We went to the hotel the fast as we could, we left our things there and we went to see all the attractions we could, because we were leaving the next day.

First, we went to the Treasure Island. Outside this hotel, they have an enormous boat were at night they have lots of performances.
I wanted to see the fountain that is outside the Bellagio so we went to look for it. It wasn't as easy as it sounds. We had to use a map, because, the blocks there are weird. Finally we found it. It was just beautiful and we could see the show with water and light they have. I had jelly legs for been there, watching that.

After that we were thirsty and hungry. So we went to the Vennician to take a bite. We didn't have much time so we just took a swig of our shakes and go. This hotel's ceiling is paint like the sky, so you feel like it is at open air. And off course, I saw the fake "gondolas".
Then we went to the Caesar's Palace which is my favorite hotel. The decoration was perfect. We could see the madness of the casinos. But they have lots of shops too, like GAP, channel, Armani, souvenirs stores, etc. We went to a gigantic candy shop. I bought a bunch of sweets there, all kind of delicious candy! Finally, we went to the M&M shop.
This was one of my greatest experiences ever. I'm just looking forward to go again with 21!. I had a great time.
